A full yellow dahlia with a red millefiori cane center. Each petal it delicately framed by fine white with four layers of petals and embraced by five green leaves peeking out from behind the blossom. With a bit of imagination, the flower could almost double as a water lily afloat on a surface of transparent blue water. The dahlia has always been an ideal muse for paperweight artists with its multi layered petals and symmetry if one petal is off ones eye will tell - this example is about as good as they come. Beauty under glass!
