Made for the American bicentennial, this remains to be one of the most sought after (and large) modern production sulphide paperweights. It is executed in a ovoid shape with a detailed sulphide of Mount Rushmore set over a transparent blue ground, encapsulated in a faceted red over white double overlay.  Produced with a planned production run of 1000 pieces, only 789 were made.
