A rare example with the initials "XB" in black and white twist encapsulated in clear crystal and fully faceted on all sides creating a well-formed egg.

The initials "XB" is short-hand for the russian phrase "Христос воскресе" which translates in english to "Christ is Risen". For the holy week of Easter it is common in Russia for eggs to be colorfully decorated and adorned with the initials "XB". On Easter Sunday, these are exchanged between neighbors and loved ones.
