At the center is a detailed murrina featuring a gold frame with black canvas and a portrait of a woman with red hair and a blue blouse. The center portrait is surrounded by a garland of red, green and orange roses. The techniques Christina employs in her work are laborious and uncommon in paperweight making. Each complex murrina is composed of various individual parts with intricate shading and composition.
