An uncommon flower from one of the most important 19th Century American factories. This particular flower has been described as a poinsettia by some and others as simply a "flower" however I believe, with its accompanying bud, it is a rose blossom. It is nicely executed with deeply veined leaves and the setup resting over a double spiral filigree basket set low in the dome.
