This complex compound work captures a snippet in time - the moment when two dragonflies pass one another in flight.  An elegant segmented burgundy colored dragonfly passes gracefully over a purple and green colored dragonfly both with flashing wings of dichroic lace, suspended over a star-cut amber colored ground.
