At the center of this complex murrina is a detailed white tiger surrounded by a row of red stars and framed by the quote "War is coming and we are stuck here". The work is fully cut, polished and beveled. It is a good example of Mathieu's artistry, showcasing his attention to detail and ability to create complex composite portraits with multiple fused murrine components.
