The cylindrical form is clad on the sides with closely packed millefiori, roses, figural and pictorial murrine throughout. The top is capped with a large detailed murrine of a pair of gouldian finches on an orange flowering branch against a white field framed by concentric rows of complex blue, purple and green millefiori.
