A wonderfully playful and intricately detailed composition by Stephen Boehme, featuring a Franchini-style murrine depicting Koko the gorilla holding a soft drink, flanked by two bright yellow bananas. The whimsical scene is set against a shimmering dichroic blue ground and backed by an elaborate electrum wigwag. A delightful example of Boehme’s imaginative approach to contemporary glass art, combining technical precision, intricate cane work, and his signature sense of humor.
