Vintage Saint Louis Art Glass Paperweight Queen Elizabeth Sulphide & Millefiori

Rough Dimensions: 3” diameter & 1-3/4” tall

Makers Mark: Acid Etched to the concave polished base, “Cristal St Louis France”. And it still retains the original paper label, “Made in France”.

Condition:  Near Mint, there is a small nick at the edge of the base. This has been mostly polished out and I believe that it occurred during production when the base was cut. Please see photos and let us know if you need any additional assistance. 

A fantastic early modern design design from 1953 featuring a detailed cameo of Queen Elizabeth II by Gilbert Poillerat commemorating the coronation of the queen. An outer garland of millefiori complements the cameo and the weight is well finished with evenly cut 6+1 faceting.
