Makers Mark: Hand inscribed on the flat polished base, "81/250 WM 1981"

Condition: Near Mint, only very minor shelf wear to the shallow concave flame polished base. Please see photos and let us know if you need any additional assistance. 

A fantastic piece! A butterfly with complex blue millefiori in the upper and lower wings, well formed with pointed tips, a green aventurine body with yellow head and antennae. The butterfly is well centered and hovers over a handsome amber stave basket. A lovely early work, limited to just 250 pieces.
