A peaceful winter scene featuring a scarf-clad figure extending a hand toward a yellow bird, surrounded by a mixed conifer forest as soft snowflakes gently fall around them. The scene is executed on a gradient blue glass background that beautifully captures the feeling of twilight. Colored glass forms are exceptionally rare in Alison’s work, making this piece particularly special. For more on Alison and her technique please watch Pondering Paperweights Episode 1.
