A very rare design from one of the most elusive makers of the 19th century. Pantin produced only a small number of paperweights, yet the firm is celebrated for creating some of the most important flamework examples of the era. This piece features a naturalistic red rose stem with delicate dew drops, set over an opaque white ground. It is the paperweight for the collector who has everything - a true crown jewel to complete even the most advanced collection.
