A very unusual weight featuring a millefiori butterfly with a single canes in the forward and back wings, the body is also constructed of short cane sections, and detailed with lampworked antennae and spots for legs. I discovered one other example sold at Selman’s in their Fall 2002 auction, see lot #93, here is is described as “Bohemian”.
