A large detailed murrina of a blue-eyed woman in red framed by a garland of colorful roses and leaves. The large center murrina has been coldworked using a relief carving technique providing depth and dimension to the otherwise flat portrait. The techniques Christina employs in her work are laborious and uncommon in paperweight making. Each complex murrina is composed of various individual parts with intricate shading and composition.
