Condition: Excellent, with some small nicks to the edge.

A clear pressed molded design featuring a 15 point decorative lobed edge and waffle pressed backing containing a detailed sulphide of Napoleon I and his second wife Marie-Louis the Duchess of Parma. This and similar sulphide plaques are somewhat uncommon and predate French paperweights containing the same sulphide incrustations.
