It is difficult to date 20th century paperweights from Murano but this, likely, dates somewhat earlier, pre 1950s. It is a very well made example with numerous complex millefiori and cog style canes closely pack over a cushion of multicolored frit. The setup  of canes cascades about halfway down, much so like in the style of an antique Baccarat closepack. High quality Murano paperweights like this are rare and should be considered as a superb addition to a high caliber collection.
