Pairpoint paperweights like this are the reason why so often they are mistaken for some other maker or remain unidentified. The factory, as can be seen in this example, was capable of making very nice complex millefiori. Good examples are rare and this example is particularly interesting with wonderful pastel colored canes set over an opaque cobalt blue ground.
