For years, Gordon has tirelessly honed his craft. Today, he stands at the height of his career - creating some of the most realistic and biologically accurate glass compositions ever attempted.

This piece is a particularly special example: it features a nesting coral snake protecting a clutch of three eggs. The hyper-realistic scene shows the scaled serpent woven over a sandy ground, surrounded by purple daisies, white perennials, lichen-covered pebbles, and bits of straw and other organic material blanketing the sand.

Every detail is meticulously hand-sculpted from glass. At the flame, Gordon uses fine tools and countless glass color combinations, all in pursuit of crafting the most lifelike glass sculpture ever achieved.
