Cristallerie de Pantin was a French factory primarily known for its decorative tableware.  It is believed that paperweight production at Pantin lasted a relatively short period, between the years 1878-1880. Pantin paperweights are very rare - only a few hundred known to exist. Pantin is most celebrated for creating some of the most dimensional and realistic lampwork paperweights of the time. There designs included lizards, salamanders, and numerous floral motifs.
